Today, people who have  pets , who raise or slaughter  livestock , or who own or work with animals are expected to follow basic standards of care.  Domestic animals  are entitled to receive food and water, and torturing animals or treating them badly can be prosecuted as a crime. 4.Animal rights arent taken as seriously as they should be.
